This magnet lifter can easily be attached to magnetic materials. Afterwards this materials can be lifted with a crane or similar devices.
No electricity is required. The magnet lifter is activated by a lever. In the off-position the magnet is deactivated and there is no magnetic force on the outside. After putting it on the work piece, you simply put the lever to the on-position and the magnet is activated. Now the work piece can be lifted with a crane or similar device. When the piece is at the target location you just have to put the lever into the off-position again and the magnet can be removed.

The lifting capacity also depends on the distance between the work piece and the magnet, including paint, coating etc.
The lifting capacity also depends on the carbon content of the material that is lifted. The magnet lifter has its highest capacity (100 %) for work pieces made of steel as the carbon content ist very low. For e.g. cast iron the capacity is significantly lower (approx. 65 %) because of the high carbon content.
Additionally the form of the work piece influences the lifting capacity. If the lifter can placed totally e.g. on a plate, its capacity will be very high. If the work piece is round, the capacity decreases down to approx. 30 %. 100kgs / 220lbs Rare Earth Permanent Neodymium Magnetic Lifter
