The most common setting is 90 ℃ and 95% RH. This is usually a characteristics test.
Autoclave for uncoated magnets Such test is also called PCT test, is a weight-loss test performed at 2 atmospheres, 150℃ and 100% RH. The duration is 96 hours, but can be adjusted according to customer requirements. Autoclave for coated magnets This is a characteristics test looking for lack of failure at specified test duration. Test conditions can be selected ranging from two atmospheres, 100% RH to HAST test conditions.
