Hairline cracks in the magnetic material are unavoidable for technical reasons in the D=12 mm version. They do not impair the attracting function of the magnets in any way.

NdFeB Pot Magnets are best for small sized magnetic products with maximum pull strength (ideally when in direct contact with ferromagnetic e.g. mild steel surfaces). The actual pull force achieved is dependent on the surface that is being clamped onto (material type, thickness, flatness, friction levels, etc), its quality (e.g. rust free), its size (thickness plus total surface area), etc.

The permanent neodymium has been produced since 1950s. It is a ferromagnetic metallic oxide which is produced by powder metallurgy. It is divided into Ba and Sr. It can be molded into isotropic and anisotropic magnets its necessity of magnetic force. The permanent ferrite is hard to be demagnetized and anticorrosion, and the working temperature reaches 250 degrees Celsius, the Curie temperature reaches 450degrees Celsius. It is a material which is hard but fragile and can be cut and processed by diamond grinding wheels or other molds.
